Industrials

Industrials form the core of B.T.G.’s portfolio, with main focus on power and energy, construction, food processing, and project management. B.T.G. envisions to be an important role player in nation building.

Power and Energy:

First Bay Power Corporation (FBPC) is B.T.G.’s electric distribution utility arm that serves the town of Bauan in the province of Batangas, Philippines. In 2016, it was granted a legislative franchise by the Republic of the Philippines to operate for 25 years. FBPC is actively pursuing engagements with the various groups, particularly electrical cooperatives, power producers and technology providers, in light of the restructuring of the Philippine Power Industry.

Construction:

Makiling Construction Ventures Corporation (MCVC) is a general construction firm involved in civil works, engineering, and maintenance of various properties and developments.

Food Processing:

First Manhattan is the private operator of the Lipa City Slaughterhouse in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines. It mainly processes hogs and cattle with a maximum processing output of 700 hogs per day. Through its management, First Manhattan is able to rehabilitate the slaughterhouse and achieve AAA status with the goal to be accredited to process food for export standards.

Project Management and Information Technology:

Comnet is the project management arm of the group, with multi-skilled personnel in planning, mobilization, execution, and operation of various businesses and projects. Comnet’s experience in handling large scale time-bound government projects such as the electronic transmission of 2004 National and Local elections gives credence to the capabilities of the company.
